Our story
The story of Absolute begins long before its name. It is shaped by people, ideas and a constant drive to rethink how yachts are designed, built and experienced.
The roots of innovation
Angelo Gobbi founds Cantieri Nautici Gobbi, becoming one of the Italian pioneers to embrace fiberglass and industrialized boat production.
Absolute is born
Sergio Maggi and Marcello Bè found Absolute, bringing design, engineering and production expertise together around a new, integrated approach to yacht building.
The first yachts
Absolute 25 and Absolute 45 make their debut, two very different yachts that immediately reveal the brand’s ambition and design capability.
Experience meets a new vision
As Absolute prepares a new, larger shipyard, Angelo Gobbi joins the company, bringing decades of experience into a new industrial vision.
Building through change
The new shipyard opens as the global crisis reshapes the industry. Absolute continues to invest, strengthening its integrated production model and developing the Fly range.
A new way to cruise
With the first Navetta, Absolute introduces a new way of experiencing life at sea. More space, greater comfort and efficient cruising open the brand to a new segment and mark a decisive step in its product evolution.
Absolute goes further
Absolute of Americas establishes a direct presence in North America, strengthening the international dealer network and support in a strategic global market.
A new design language
The Coupé range brings a more dynamic interpretation of the Absolute philosophy, introducing open, configurable spaces and a closer relationship with the sea.

Efficiency, designed on board
Sustainability continues at sea through recyclable materials, efficient IPS propulsion and integrated solar solutions. Lower consumption, reduced generator use and natural ventilation make comfort and efficiency part of the same design approach.
