With this first publication, we initiate “The Absolute Voices”, our new section where weekly interviews will give voice to the main players of Absolute Yachts’ world. Through a very wide global network of nautical professionals, we will find out the Absolute world told from the point of view of those who live it everyday. Every week, Absolute Yachts’ “voices” will talk about themselves, bringing us inside the luxury yachts of the shipyard.

Founded in 2003, SeaNet Yachts is the reference dealer for luxury yachts in California. During the 2018 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, we met Michael Costa of SeaNet on board the Navetta 73. In this first video interview, we will find out this amazing model guided by the voice of the American dealer who will highlight aspects and feelings of life on board as well as some of their initiatives.

The traditional Christmas cheer is a very significant moment for the Absolute family, a strong international team spokesperson of the Made in Italy all over the world, who is about to make an assessment of what has been done, in view of the future exciting challenges.

ABSOLUTE wins the “Boat Builder Awards” thanks to the ISS System.

The success of the Absolute company is not showing any signs of letting up. On Tuesday, November 13^th, during METS exhibition, the renowned company has received the “Boat Builder Awards” acknowledgment in the category “Innovation in a Production Process”.

The credit for this goal has been assigned to the state-of-the-art “Integrated Structural System” (ISS) manufacturing system, which has been defined as a “unique and original innovation” both for the owner and for the activities carried out in the shipyard. This working method is an Absolute excellence, born from the founders’ deep knowledge of the manufacturing techniques. The idea behind concerns an integration of all the activities into an efficient and optimized system during every stage of the production.

This success is the result of an excellent team effort, passionately being developed day after day by the Absolute team, even more strong and cohesive, and by the international sales network.

“Reaching for the Absolute” is not just the brand philosophy, but it’s an attitude aimed at the excellence, of which Absolute has received a further, absolute, confirmation.

The world’s largest Boat Show recently came to an end: we are talking about Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2018, which took place from October 31^st to November 4^th in the sunny city of the Florida south-east Coast, renowned for its beaches and waterways.

With about 300,000 square meters of exhibition area, the event hosts 1,500 boats coming from 52 different countries in the world.

During this event, Absolute has win the Americas over thanks to its amazing range of models: 45 Fly, 50 Fly, 52 Fly, 58 Fly, Navetta 48, Navetta 52, Navetta 58 and Navetta 73.

The unique outlines of the Absolute yachts as well as their unequaled quality have literally enraptured many enthusiastic, expert and curios vititors.

The last valuable creation of the Italian shipyard, the Navetta 48, has enjoyed great success, letting visitors living a special experience.

New and strong emotions are coming: Absolute has great surprises in mind for the new long-awaited event, the Boot Düsseldorf – from 19^th to 27^th January 2019 – where the official debut of the Absolute 62 Fly is going to take place.

The arrival of further novelties for both ranges, Fly and Navetta, has already been announced for 2019, confirming the overwhelming growth trend of the shipyard.

Absolute Weekend, Baia 2018

It is just after lunch time when Giancarlo arrives in Baia, in the gulf of Pozzuoli, under the burning summer sun.

He is just in from Varazze, on board an Absolute 52 Fly. Tired, but happy like a little boy who just got off the world’s biggest roller coaster ride. He just bought a new yacht with his brother Salvatore. It is the second day of their trip.

«Yesterday we stopped in Argentario and now here we are». A short break in Naples for the Absolute Weekend, which is a regular appointment among motoryacht fans from central and southern Italy, soaked with that typical Neapolitan hospitality.

Giancarlo comes from Sicily.
«Tomorrow we go back to the South». He is used to navigating in the Mediterranean: the Aeolian, Ortigia, Marzamemi, but also the Aegadian Islands and Ustica. In short,
one of the most beautiful seas in the world.

«When you buy a yacht, you kind of go back to your childhood», he says, smiling. «I am mainly looking for fun». But also comfort. On the pier in Baia, one of the most suggestive places in Naples, smiles and kindness prevail.

CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL 2018: ABSOLUTE STANDS OUT ON THE BOATING RED CARPET

The Yachting Festival Cannes 2018, one of the foremost international events of the nautical world, taking place in the pearl of the Cote d’Azur from 11^th to 16^th September, has just ended.

The Absolute quality has immediately stood out, among the 542 exhibitors, thanks to the presence of 9 boats of its outstanding range: 50 Fly, 52 Fly, 58 Fly, 60 Fly, 72 Fly, Navetta 48, Navetta 52, Navetta 58 e Navetta 73.

The result has been very positive: so many international visitors had the chance to experience the concrete excellence of the Absolute “Made in Italy” that comes to life in the shipyard and that benefits from the support of a tight-knit and united sales network coming from all over the world.

The curious eyes of many owners and nautical experts have been moving along the docks of the French city; Absolute offered them absolute experiences, including the strongest one, the launch of the Navetta 48.
The long-awaited debut of this model has perfectly met the expectations, being a source of amazement thanks to its revolutionary concept of “living” on board, where “space-and-light” merge, becoming one single word a real comfort experience.

In just 48 feet, Absolute has successfully gone beyond the design and building limits existing so far. In fact, visitors had the chance to realize that this nautical masterwork offers a great habitability enviable to boats of bigger dimensions than the Navetta 48.

The astonishment raised by the discovering of unbelievably bright, wide, functional and eclectic spaces, both inside and outside, has been one of the most interesting features for the visitors.

Now that the great nautical events’ season is open, we can only wait for further Absolute surprises.

One of the most admired shipyard in the world was the location of the Absolute World Meeting 2018, from 19^th to 21^st June 2018 in Podenzano (Piacenza), a long-awaited event for the Absolute dealers, who arrived from every corner of the earth to set the strategical routes for the year ahead.

On this occasion, Absolute, brand leader in the yacht manufacturing, global top player, has opened the door to new ambitions. The Boot Düsseldorf 2018 set the records this year, welcoming approximately 247.000 visitors from almost 100 different Countries: it has been again a successful occasion for Absolute to start the new year off on the right foot.

The models exhibited by the shipyard, Absolute 50 Fly, Absolute 52 Fly – restyling 2017, Absolute Navetta 58 and Absolute 58 Fly, have received positive feedbacks from the several international customers that have been visiting the booth during the Boat Show.

Absolute Global Project keeps being a success.
During a ceremony that took place February 6^th at Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan, UPS has awarded Absolute Yachts as winner of “Export2Succeed” for being the best exporting SME of the year. This initiative has been launched together with “L’Imprenditore”, the monthly magazine of “Piccola Industria di Confindutria”: the aim is to promote the internationalization of the SME and of the “Made in Italy” products, recognizing the Italian export champions.

A board leaded by Diego Mingarelli, Vice President of “Piccola Industria di Confindustria” has evaluated the nominations: the other members were Karl Haberkorn, UPS Italy managing director; Fabrizio Rigolio, Rizoma CEO; Stefano Zapponini, executive manager of the magazine “L’imprenditore”. Karl Haberkorn stated that the company who has won this award “has shown a concept going beyond the Italian boards”, adding also “We hope that its success could show how doing business in an increasingly
international market could be a winning strategy for the SME and the Italian start-ups”.

Absolute stood out between the nominated companies thanks to its ambitious project, the “Absolute Global Project”, here described and summarized in the words of Engineer Cesare Mastroianni, Absolute VP Sales & CCO: “The well-known crisis at the end of the 2000s has given rise to our active reaction and our determination to overcome the market difficulties through an ambitious and expensive project. During the six-year period between 2012 and 2017, the company has never moved backwards, considering the workforce, the advertising investments and above all the investments for the ongoing renewal of the products. This led to the Global Project that has been involving us in three dimensions: technical, organizational and communicative.”

To best manage the presence in the different Countries, Absolute has been supported over the years by a solid sales network. The organization includes a satellite company in the USA, the handling of 3 international events namely Cannes, Düsseldorf and Hong Kong, a technical training of the local players through meetings and trainings at our headquarters and in several international locations, as well as the participation at over 50 international Boat Shows.

The Global Project has virtually led Absolute close to all the yachting users, who perceive its Italian identity not only through the creativity of its products but also through the reliability of the territorial organization: the Absolute creations offer to the ship-owners more extensive, more comfortable and more efficient uses compared to the competitors and to the traditional design guidelines.

Today the Absolute Global Project success is a reality. “Today Absolute has become a sold global reality of the recreational boating. During the years of the project’s development, we have received many international awards in Europe and Asia and above all our turnover has grown in double figures, right when the international yachting market was facing a shrinking or static period”, concludes Mr. Mastroianni.

If you are an authentic sea lover, you can’t help falling in love with Fort Lauderdale, in Florida, the “Yachting Capital of the World“. This is why Absolute couldn’t miss the greatest boating spectacle in USA: the 59^th Fort Lauderdale International Boat.
Again this year, we were so honoured to carry the Italian pride at this international boating reunion, featuring every year thousands of visitors coming from all over the world. And then, we shall admit it, the 8 Absolute jewels on display really stood out from the crowd!

Once again, the real guarantee of Absolute’s success certainly was the unique fleet that we had at our side: Navetta 52, Navetta 58, 60 Fly, 64 Fly together with 50 Fly, winner of the European Power Boat of the Year 2017; 52 Fly – after its superb restyling; the new 58 Fly and… Ladies and Gentleman, the great flagship Navetta 73! Innovation is not a relative concept, it is Absolute.

Imagine you are in the most glamour, up-to-date, complete and attended yachting event of the season. Imagine that you are wandering along the piers, after seeing so many hulls and decks, just searching for something never seen, something unexpected but charming and attractive. Suppose also that technology, modernity and optimization are your preferred keywords every time you address a new purchase, no matter if a functional device or a funny toy.

Guess what? Now you can stop the search, you have won: “Navetta 73” matches all your expectations.

In the modern yachting history, this is the first time that a single unit deploys an unprecedented mix of ingredients. Her skin (that is shared with the other sisters in the Navetta family) resembles that one of the traditional explorers and brave deep sea wave-piercers. “At the helm, you will feel steering facing each time new challenges.”

And, as a matter of facts, she gently crosses the waves both in full displacement as well as in gliding modes, without discontinuity, without “forbidden speeds”, while keeping her proud stem always an inch from the water. This is possible thanks to the brand-new Volvo Penta D13 IPS-30 rated 1350. “You can set her throttle as per the mood of the day (or the conditions of the sea), basically without affecting the visibility from the helm, nor the total fuel consumption, nor the maneuvering ability, nor the stability: to make a long story short, she is seaworthy, indeed.”

Last, but not least, the comfort on board is simply awesome. This a twofold story: despite the number 73 could recall volumes and zones already seen onboard of many other 70’ yachts, this big one resembles to a more-than-85 motoryacht. The same is true as per the natural materials used to detail every single piece of this astonishing “building”, woods, leathers, ceramics, carbon fiber, and so on. Seeing is believing. On the other hand, soundproofing and climate control have been geared by top-notch engineering of ever. The efficiency of all the onboard devices (hydraulic, mechanics, electronics, air conditioning, navigation, communication, entertainment, …) are under the wide open eye of an integrated Boening supervising system, with remote capability. “You can plan, know and steer the whole yacht under your fingertips.”

These should have been the thoughts of the international jury of the “World Yachts Trophies 2017”, when they have assigned the “Best Innovation” award to our new flagship, “Navetta 73”, because she is The Innovation.

Absolute World Dealers Meeting 2017

This amazing shot concludes the 4^th Absolute World Dealers Meeting, where the protagonists have been the Absolute 58 Fly and the Absolute Navetta 73, novelties of the current season.

The Absolute Dealers came from all over the world for the annual meeting that gathers the worldwide sales network: an intensive 3-days of training and visits, not only to the yachts but also to the new manufacturing areas of the steadily growing shipyard.

A new boat is usually celebrated raising a bunting, but we – Absolute – prefer to surround her with the people that belong to our family and that contribute to her success day after day. Again, “We Make it Absolute”.

Yachts Miami Beach 2017: a great success for Absolute shipyard and its luxurious yachts!

The “European Powerboat of the Year” is not a dummy accolade: a skilled jury (a dozen editors from all over Europe, specialized in boats and yachts) select five candidate products. Then, a deep analysis is performed by these expert deans of our industry, and at the end the real best boat of the year is appointed.

Proudly, our novelty 2017 – namely the “Absolute 50FLY” – has been honored by such a trial and we have won the prize!

Our family is larger every year more: new dealers, new employees, new products. Like every other family, whenever newborns are coming, the house has to be enlarged.

In 6 months, Absolute has implemented a new facility for yachts manufacturing, thus extending the existing headquarters. The assembly lines have been doubled, as well as the automated warehouse.

Within August 2017 a new automated wood workstations hub will be on place, in order to complete the whole project: stay tuned…

Who has said that the boats shall only navigate in the water? Well, if you want to attend at the largest indoor boat and water sports event in the world, it’s worth considering to cruise the land!

This is what we have done, and it is not the first time.

Our “Absolute 60FLY” and “Navetta 52” have been moved from Italy to the North Sea, on deck of a large oceanic vessel. Then, they have gently come across The Netherlands and Germany, through channels and rivers, thus approaching to Düsseldorf by the Rhine.

But what about the last few hundreds meters? How to get into the Düsseldorf Messe?
