For the third consecutive year, Absolute Yachts is listed in the special leaderboard “Leader della Crescita 2021”, drawn up by Il Sole24Ore and the German agency Statista: such list includes the 450 Italian companies that, in the three-year period 2016/2019, have recorded the highest growth rates in their turnover.
The shipyard based in Podenzano, in the province of Piacenza, records an annual growth rate of 16.81%, with a turnover, expressed in euros, that rose from 45,081,000 in 2016 to 71,862,000 in 2019.
The only shipyard in the prestigious ranking, Absolute Yachts gains the 13th place in terms of annual turnover 2019 and specifically the second place in the Industrial Products category.
This is an important result, achieved in a very immediate past, and the outcome of very precise strategic choices, aimed at constant innovation and continuous investment in the territory. A recognition that contributes to strengthening a position as an autonomous and independent company, not only from a design and construction point of view, but also in structural terms.
“Ours is a solid, concrete and reliable structure, and it is proving so even in a period of uncertainty and instability. We have many projects in launch phase, as many in the pipeline and we are sure that our proactive attitude will be the premise not only for further developments, but also for as many satisfactions, such as the one of today”. (Angelo Gobbi – President of Absolute Spa)
On Thursday, November 19th, the Best of Boats Award 2020 award ceremony took place in Berlin, with the nominated yachts and shipyards.
Initiated in 2014, this is the only award in the motorboating world that aims at identifying the best yachts of the year based on fivecategories for differentuse: best for beginners, for family, for fun, for fishing, and for travel. Precisely in this last category, Absolute Navetta 64—The Absolute Pathfinder—has won the award in the “Best for Travel” category.
According to a jury of nautical journalists with great experience and passion for testing: “It’s one of the biggest 60-footer ever seen. Actually it has 64’5”, so the space on board is enormous, open and bright. Adding to the incredible master cabin the new Navetta has a beach club on the aft. It’s something special.”
The 18 international journalists of the jury, all coming from various publishing houses, were looking for the best novelties in terms of motorboating in Europe and announced the winners in the different categories among the 21 official finalists.
“It is always thrilling to be nominated for such an award and, above all, win it!” stated Cesare Mastroianni, Absolute VP Sales & CCO, in streaming from the shipyard’s headquarters in Piacenza, Italy. “The concept behind the Navetta’s line was born a few years ago: we wanted our boats to give the owner the possibility to travel anywhere without ever feeling far from home. We called this particular project ‘The Absolute Pathfinder’ because aboard the Navetta 64 you can really travel anywhere you want, without space limits.”
The 61st edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show has ended successfully, with over 500 boats on display. In spite of the numerous restrictions on continental travels, the number of visitors has not failed to meet expectations.
Despite the cancellation of the SuperYacht Village, the event was a triumph, also thanks to the prestigious Italian brands present. Among these, Absolute Yachts’ boats in the Face Dock #2, have registered a significant number of visits aboard the Navetta 52, the Navetta 58, and the 47 FLY. As always, precious was the technical support and the passion of our dealers Grande Yachts, JBYS, SeaNet, and Staten Island.
On October 23rd Absolute had the pleasure to host an online Press Conference addressing the worldwide trade press, speaking about the features of the 2022 generation along with an in-depht presentation of the two new current models. Navetta 64 and the 50 FLY has been presented in all their beauty and functionality.
Amongst the current models, Absolute introduced the new 60-feet Fly model and officially welcomed a new range of yachts with the 48 Coupé.
The 60 FLY project embodies the highest level of engineering of the Absolute house, both in terms of structure and technology, thanks to the great passion and innovative impulse usually characterizing new projects. The main feature of this vessel is the high level of versatility in defining the various possible configurations, both inside and outside, obtained by combining two different layouts for the cockpit and three layouts for the living. The new 60 Fly preview and the press sea trials are scheduled for the next summer, while the official launch is scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2021.
Absolute 48 Coupé inaugurates a complete new range for the Absolute line of boat, which on one hand inherits the very best of Made in Italy as well as all the other models, and on the other hand it strengthens even more the green attitude that has always characterized the shipyard in Podenzano. The main novelties aim at inspiring a new concept of life aboard, with solutions to reduce the energy consumption and stimulating new levels of comfort and liveability. Propulsion will be entrusted to two Volvo Penta IPS engines. With regards to the 48 Coupé, Absolute Yachts will be proud to share more details with the press during the Boot Düsseldorf in January 2021 and to present it live to the public at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2021.
Sometimes we wonder if the real success is the one that makes you clap or the one that makes your heart beat. When talking about passion, well, the ambition could be to get both results.
Thus, after having successfully overcame the initial confrontation with dealers, media and the first shipowners on board, the new Navetta 64 has been awarded with a first important official acknowledgment, received during the 19th edition of World Yachts Trophies, as “Best Innovation Model” among 64’ and 80’.
Patrizia Gobbi – Absolute Yachts’ General Manager – was present on behalf of the whole Absolute team to receive the accolade, during the Gala Dinner which took place Saturday September 12th in the beach in front of Cartlon International, in the bay of Cannes, with more than 60 yachts finalists.
Here’s the motivation of the jury, including journalists, historians and experts of the nautical world:
“The Navetta range developed by the Italian manufacturer Absolute has been enriched by a new model with totally new features such as a beach club on the platform that allows you to enjoy a very nice living space near the water. To ensure that this place is perfectly watertight, Absolute has developed an automatic inflatable seal system as soon as the doors are closed. Three beautiful cabins plus once for the sailor share the lower deck, benefiting from a very nice outside view thanks to the presence of numerous glass surfaces. Another particularly interesting feature is that the main part of the fly can be completely closed.”
“We are very proud of this award, it is an acknowledgment that rewards the innate dedication of the shipyard when talking about innovation, research and development of new solutions. These are the contributions that we consider essential in order to ensure to the Made in Italy manufacturing production the deserved leadership role” (Patrizia Gobbi).
Success, beyond the most ambitious goals
With an excellent balance between size and functionality, as well as a large availability of room devised to foster comfort, Absolute 50 FLY – the Absolute Achievement – captures the essence of our ambition: offering amazing size, maximum comfort, and absolute livability. This dynamic and innovative yacht is decidedly captivating in the shapes, combinations of colors, materials, and finishing touches.
The lines of the exteriors highlight the wide uninterrupted windows—obtained thanks to the reduction of the typical
“sword”—and the windows of the cabins below deck, which are similarly without pillars.
Relaxation outdoors is assured by a comfortable and versatile aft cockpit, which can be directly connected to the galley, where the sofa easily turns into a sun lounger. The Fly area, among the largest in the range, offers a table surrounded by a sofa, a full kitchen area, and a double steering position with another comfortable sun lounger.
The third sunbathing area is located at the bow, easily accessible through a pleasant and well-protected walkway.
Spaces engineering: design in motion
The design and the new lines of chromatic contrast characterize the interiors of the main deck that appear to be bright and finely furnished. On the left side of the entrance, the galley is equipped with practical worktops in fine materials that can be separated from the rest of the living room thanks to elegant electric sliding glass. The furniture in front of this area has been redesigned to offer new stowage spaces and comfortable support surfaces. Furthermore, large sofas, furnishings, new air conditioning systems, and the entertainment area contribute to making the onboard experience truly immersive.
The steering position, ergonomic and well equipped, has a side door, which turns to be particularly helpful when maneuvering, and an switchboard for immediate access.
Elegance and exclusivity for an Absolute navigation experience
Located in the center of the boat, on the lower deck, the full-beam master cabin is very spacious, refined with elegant color combinations, and equipped with roomy cabinets and many stowage spaces. It offers an incredible view of the sea thanks to two side windows without pillars. The en-suite head is enriched with new coating materials and raw materials of great value.
The VIP cabin also covers the whole width of the boat. It is comfortable and bright and its ensuite head has double access both from the inside and from the hallway. Finally, the third guest cabin has two berths and a walk-in closet, and the aft crew cabin can be easily used for extra guests.
Not a simple expansion of an already complete range, but rather the most tangible expression of generous and open-minded engineering has allowed implementing not only the usual Absolute Yachts’ best features but also amazing onboard innovations.
The Navetta 64 – The Absolute Pathfinder, is like a sister to the other models in the range: she is a Navetta, and you can easily tell why. The wide and uninterrupted side glass window, which runs from the aft mirror to the windshield, outlines her exterior shapes, characterized by the significant enlargement of the bow windows and the opening of the side gunwales in the cockpit.
WAKING UP WITH THE SEA IN THE EYES, ALMOST TOUCHING THE WATER.
In the Beach Club version, the transom can be turned from large storage into an actual double cabin on the water’s surface thanks to a fully glazed watertight access door with a certified watertight seal.
Beach Club by day and VIP cabin with an en-suite head by night: this alchemy is made possible thanks to the placing of the crew cabin—with 2 berths—directly accessible from the second starboard side door. A triumph of livability both at daytime and at night-time, right at the stern, right on the water!
MAXIMUM SPACE, COMFORT, DESIGN, AND TECHNOLOGY. NO HALF MEASURES.
Aboard the Navetta 64, all the spaces are designed to offer the maximum enjoyment of the rooms—always panoramic and bright, thanks to unprecedented-size windows. In addition, the spaces are furnished and refined with everything you need to feel just like at home, without giving up on anything.
The Fly area has a far greater width than on any other 64-foot yachts.
In the main deck, the living room is surrounded by frameless glass windows, offering breathtaking panoramas. The comfortable sofas, the large table, the entertainment area, and the galley—easily connectable to the cockpit—top it all off. Moreover, the area is overlooked by a steering position with a unique windshield of more than 10 feet, curved and frameless for absolute visibility, especially when sitting.
Below the deck, the master cabin is at the bow with a king-size bed, large side windows, and a full-beam head. Also, the VIP cabin really stands out: its livability is definitely above average and the materials selected are simply exquisite. Furthermore, the third cabin is a double stateroom with single beds. Finally, all cabins have en-suite heads.
The Absolute Dealers Meeting 2020 is just around the corner. An internal debate between the shipyard and the dealers, which will take place on July 30th and 31st, through the digital technologies; more than 35 companies involved from all over the world, with over 180 dealers connected, in addition to a great part of the Absolute Yachts Management and Staff.
“Moving Forward” will be the payoff and feeling of the event, to confirm the desire for innovation, which never stopped. The topics mentioned? The new highly-awaited Navetta 64 and 50 FLY-restyling, new features and technologies upgrades, which will then be officially presented in Cannes, September 2020.
Absolute Dealers Meeting enhances its essential debate role which has always been enriching and shaping the shipyard choices, allowing the development of a choral work able to express the maximum of any new concept and any small detail.
ItalyPost, in collaboration with Il Corriere della Sera Economia, has recently published the results of the survey aimed at identifying the 1,000 “Champion” companies that showed above-average results from 2012 to 2018. This year in its third edition, the research is characterized by full freedom and methodological objectivity in the analysis of the financial statements.
Depending on the company’s turnover, two are the macro-categories examined: 800 companies are selected within the turnover range from 20 to 120 million euros, whereas 200 are the top performers identified in the range from 120 up to 500 million.
For the third year in a row, Absolute SpA appears in the first category. The excellent results of the last eight years confirm the stability of the Podenzano shipyard as shown by the steady upward trend of the growth rate.
For the first category, the data analyzed with regard to the last six financial accounts (2012-2018) came from the Aida-Bureau Van Dijk database and Infocamere, the Italian Registry of Business.
To identify the top-Italian companies, the turnover was not enough: ItalyPost took into consideration also other parameters, such as the average compound annual growth rate (CAGR) from 2012 to 2018, the average Earnings Before Interests, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) over the last 3 years, modeFinance‘s creditworthiness rating—a rating higher than BBB from the Credit Rating Agency was required—as well as a ratio between NFP and EBITDA below 2.8.
Absolute SpA’s turnover does not need further explanations (raising from 13.4 million in 2012 to 60.9 million in 2018), moreover, the other figures show nothing but the solid, sound, and constant growth of the company in recent years:
This evolution does not rely on occasional or sporadic performances but is the result of a vision that—since the foundation of the company—aims at the continuous reinvestment of the profits to foster the development of new technologies, infrastructures, models, and the international exhibitions, also widening the geographic commercial networks and the workforce numbers—both in Italy and in the American subsidiary—and strengthening the global communication channels.
The complete independence—reached without any resources from institutional investors or third parties—has allowed Absolute to heighten their entrepreneurial energy and the imagination of a company that is genuinely passionate about the yachting world. Yachting, like any other productive sector, requires passion and involvement: feelings that can be well combined with the freedom of expression and action that Absolute has shown.
In a time of great attention towards solutions that can help to alleviate the current common concerns, Absolute should be acknowledged for having applied a quite simple recipe. They have believed in their strength and have been able to engage all the employees, both in favorable market moments and in much more difficult ones.
Absolute is very pleased to have been recognized among the 1,000 companies capable of getting Italy out of this crisis.
This important recognition rewards the constant commitment towards the evolution of products and processes, as well as a natural attitude towards innovation. In the last ten years, Absolute has presented no less than two new models each season, and plenty of newly restyled models. With the same spirit, by the end of the year, the new Navetta 64 will be presented.
“Machines take me by surprise with great frequency.”

Boating is a serious matter: using a boat in the middle of the sea requires skills, knowledge and awareness. Any help that technology can offer must be experienced to enable the captain/owner to manage navigation and life on board in maximum comfort and relax for all his guests.
One of the crucial aspects of navigation is the sense of direction, which is fundamental to approach the ports, to avoid shallows, to navigate through the summer traffic in the most popular areas. To get your bearings, it is essential to recognize the places, to look at the landmarks, to transfer the panorama on the nautical chart and to identify a temporary obstacle even if far away.

Absolute has welcomed Raymarine’s proposal that simplifies – indeed automates the visual identification of lighthouses, buoys, boats, and any other significant object around us. Absolute 47 Fly, novelty 2020, launched during the recent Cannes Yachting Festival, and then again in Düsseldorf and Miami, implements the augmented reality developed by the company that, more than any other, thanks to the tradition and to integration with FLIR, knows how to exploit the combination of chartplotters and cameras.
Apparently it could be trivial. We are talking about installing a front view camera and project its image in the piloting place display with the addition of text marks identifying the eye-catching objects (as mentioned above, headlights, ports, ships, other boats, buoys, etc.). But it is not trivial at all.
In order to obtain a reliable and immediately readable screen, it is necessary to stabilize the image, process its contents with the right amount of artificial intelligence (just enough to “understand” that a certain lump of dots on the screen is a lighthouse – or a ship), estimate its position, and trace its identity on the map and to query the AIS receiver in the event of a ship equipped with its transmitter. Well, it’s not exactly child’s play, and Raymarine has realized the Augmented Reality system overcoming all the necessary technological challenges.
Absolute has adopted Raymarine’s augmented reality system with enthusiasm: without reducing the need of a careful and prudent steering, this system increases the captain’s awareness as it simplifies the orientation by reducing the time it takes to consult the charts, which is very appreciable when environmental conditions or surrounding traffic do not allow for distractions.
Absolute has always been strongly motivated to offer a navigation experience and life on board at the highest level of comfort and safety: the augmented reality is a new element in the construction of yachts, which is able to better support this aim.
We are living in a world whose main technological paradigm is nowadays the integration. “Integrate”, making different equipments interacting in an efficient and successful way “behind the scenes” and offering in this way a comfortable and clear interaction to the user. The frontier of the technological evolution passes through the functional integration among different contexts, as the interpersonal communication, the web browsing, the diagnostic of the domestic devices, as well as any other day-by-day activities, from the shopping at the supermarket until the handling of the vehicles, including the boat.
This is how the integration of the companies comes to play, to enhance the integration of the products: we are talking about structured partnerships that ease the realization of reliable, flexible and scalable systems, which can be adapted to the growing expectations of the users.
By capturing the technological opportunities, Absolute offers integrated monitoring and handling systems for the whole range, from 47 FLY to Navetta 73. The sophistication and the performances are obviously appropriate considering the dimensions of the yachts and the features of their equipments.
One of the devices that Absolute adopts is offered by the Empirbus, a protocol – together with its corresponding hardware – developed in Sweden thanks to a company specialized in domotics and vehicular automation. This is a great example of industrial integration that results into an excellent technological integration product.

On board of the Absolute yachts, the presence of Empirbus system, together with ECV and charplotters’ displays, “completes the circle”: the displays of steering areas – both in the main deck and in the upper deck – offer to the owner all the details gathered from the on board mechanical, electrical, electronic, water-sanitary, climatic and environmental systems. The displays also show all the nautical information concerning the navigation, the presence of vessels and other obstacles, the seabed and so on, as well as the functional parameters of “auxiliary” devices, as gyroscopic stabilizer, the water maker, the audio entertainment system and so on.
Through the same displays it is likewise possible to remotely handle all the functionalities that allow the full control of the above-mentioned devices and equipments.
Absolute and Empirbus represent an iconic solution about how to integrate companies, products and technological solutions, to put their know-how at the service of the primary aim offered by a yacht, namely maximum control and highest awareness, as key pillars of the security for the people on board, in order to enjoy a relaxing navigation and life on board experience.
In these days of great concern and suffering for our country, and for many others in the world, we have read contradictory and often misinformed news in the media, and in word of mouth that spontaneously involves us. In all this confusion, our thoughts turn to those who belong to the Absolute family, our collaborators, our dealers, our suppliers and consultants, those who – with a word sometimes abused – are the real stakeholders of Absolute.
Absolute would like to thank all of you, all those who have worked and are working for – and with – Absolute, while their souls are certainly troubled. Your dedication is important to us, a gesture of vitality and not just survival, especially when being vital and dynamic is the best commitment to live and give life, to your company, to your families, to society and to the country.
This may seem, indeed it may be a rhetorical vision, and perhaps it would be in conditions of “normality”: but today the country is crossed by complex problems, whose solution is not given in a single “pill”, in a single decision or action, but that can only be built with the tenacious and incessant work of many, of all. This is where the gestures of everyday life make the difference.
Absolute does not produce goods essential to people’s subsistence. But Absolute, like any other healthy, balanced and honest company, is itself a subsistence good for the country, in its own small way – we mean, but with the awareness that it is the many small raindrops that swell the rivers. And this good, the existence and flourishing of Absolute, and of all its stakeholders – as well as the existence and flourishing of every other small/big company that is healthy, balanced and honest – is a good that the country deserves, our fellow citizens, our family members deserve it.
But there is more. Just in the dark moments in the life of a community – and today this community is the entire humankind – what makes us human and what motivates all our actions for the common good are precisely the so-called “superfluous” things, our cultural identity, art, poetry, music, and it is their inessentiality that identifies us as human, European, Italian, “Piacentini”.
In the fight against a devious and invisible enemy like a virus, the strongest motivation after individual survival is precisely the preservation of identity: we are here, we are here and we will stay here, also to listen to Verdi, to see Brunelleschi, to read Leopardi, to taste a good Gutturnio, and also to admire a yacht that cruises our sea.
That’s why we thank all of you members of the Absolute family, our collaborators, dealers, suppliers and consultants: because in our small way we can keep alive a part of our precious Italy, a part that we proudly like to flag as “made in Italy”.
Thank you, from the deep of our hearts.
Absolute SpA.
The 2020 edition of the Miami Yacht Show, organized in the new Downtown location on Biscayne Bay, has successfully ended.
It was the ideal occasion to reveal to the American public the two “Generation 2020”, Navetta 52 and Navetta 58, and to share with the press a general overview of the Absolute Yachts’ latest born – the Navetta 64 – which has been previewed by Cesare Mastroianni during the press meeting on Friday.
There has been a great interest also for the other models on display, 4 units of the FLY range (47 FLY/50 FLY/58 FLY/62 FLY), the new Navetta 68 and Navetta 73, thanks to a partially temperate weather and a very favourable climate, in addition to the presence of the long-established sales network: Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales, Staten Island Yacht Sales, Grande Yachts International, Seanet Company and Marine 360°.
March’s agenda is already busy, with the Austrian Boat Show, the Eurasia Boat Show, the Palm Beach International Boat Show and the Absolute Weekend in Saint-Tropez.
To be updated on the upcoming dates https://www.www.absoluteyachts.com/en/events/
A few days ago, during the Boot Düsseldorf, the Absolute World Press Conference took place. This was the occasion where the new Navetta 64 has been firstly mentioned: she will be launched during the next Cannes Yachting Festival 2020 and she will be the latest born sister that completes the already rich Navetta range, aiming at the needs of a specific customer target.
Even if she is the latest born of the family, she is a Navetta, and you feel it. But she is not just a “redesigned” Navetta, the new Navetta 64 is a new boat, that has been creating once again something extraordinary.
Cesare, which are the main features of the new Navetta 64?
Some novelties, that we could consider in line with the current trends, have aimed to chromatic choices, to the line of the new side windows, inspired by the Navetta 48, to the enlargement of the bow windows and to a different windscreen’s inclination angle; these interventions may seem ordinary, but rather they represent the result of specific choices, that we take with our mind clear, as we love to do, without preconceived ideas, without setting prior technical boundaries. We choose what to do, and then we find a solution to do that.
For example, the enlargement of bow windows goes through a very challenging gluing match method between hull and deck, which is the result of our technical departments’ inventions.
Which are the strongest novelties?
The side wale in the cockpit has been opened, in contrast with what usually happens, where the wale has a minimal structural meaning. It may seem a minor feature, but in this way, we have a floor area extension of 60 cm along the entire length and when you are sit in the cockpit, you have the direct view over the sea from below the railing and not above it… great, isn’t it?

And what about the transom?
The stand version of the transom has two windows and a pantograph central door, same as on board other Absolute Navettas.
The optional version, that we have called “Beach Club”, offers a full windowed transom, with two side fixed doors and two sliding doors in the middle. The result is that we have the possibility to create a living space inside, not just a storage.
It has a bed convertible into sofa, two wardrobes, air cooling system, stereo, fridge, separate head and shower.
Considering also the finishing, it is in fact an additional VIP cabin, but with a glass window at the water’s edge.
Moreover, the door is not a simple door, because in order to properly operate in this area it should be watertight. So, it should not simply be “waterproof” but “watertight”. We have therefore developed a pneumatic gasket that is waterproof while resting: while navigating, by pressing a simple button, you can activate a compressor that inflates the gasket, which expands and watertight adheres to the metal frame … and the watertight door is served!

Let’s talk about the three cabins
In addition to the aft VIP, there are 3 other double cabins, two with double beds and one with twin beds, each with its own toilet; the standard crew cabin is with a single bed, but can be equipped with a second “pullman” bed, that can be folded-away.

For the owner’s cabin we have reiterated the solution adopted on Navetta 68 and 73; the position at the bow has allowed us to provide huge windows that give an incomparable view of the sea, but also a quietness and absolute privacy compared to the owner’s cabins of any other 64′.
Here the bathroom is located at the extreme bow area, full beam, a solution not adopted by many, but that offers you a large bathroom with equally generous windows on both sides. It’s a bathroom that, at first glance, even for us it was hard to believe we were able to do. Cabin and bathroom are coplanar, so there are no steps.

Guest cabins, storage space and crew cabin?
The second VIP cabin, in addition to the aft one, is at the center of the boat, with double bed, large window on port side and its own separate bathroom; on starboard side we find the guest cabin with twin beds, with a large window as well. Each of the two has its own head, the latter also serves as a day head and therefore has two access doors, one from the cabin and one from the central companionway.
A special feature of the layout is represented by the huge wardrobe/laundry storage under the owner’s cabin, at full height, with clothes hangers, drawers, cabinets, laundry and a “tailor-made” box for Dyson vacuum cleaners.
From here an additional door opens to the area below the foredeck, for inspection of the bow thruster, winch and other electromechanical equipment serving the domestic functions of the owner’s cabin.
Also on the lower deck we find the crew cabin, which can be accessed through a side door directly from the starboard side walkway, therefore the captain can go from the engine room to the aft platform, and from there to the side walkway and enter his dedicated area (or disembark from the side door), without entering the saloon or other convivial areas.
Inside the crew cabin, through a separate staircase, we have a separate toilet, wardrobe, table that can be transformed into a bed and possibility to install a second “pullman” bed.
Height, shape and size of the bed, are absolutely worthy of a larger boat, made in an “easy and effective” aft layout, without sacrificing anything: absolutely not trivial.
Finally, considering that the crew cabin borders on one side with the guest cabin and on the other with the second VIP cabin, we have added extra absorbent soundproof material on the boundary bulkheads like the one in the engine room, to create maximum privacy between guests and crew.
Other strength points?
Obviously, the galley towards the aft, with total opening on the cockpit, to create a unique environment and enjoy a practically doubled space.
A very large aft terrace on the flybridge, central area with “wet bar” – which is an actual galley – equipped with, icemaker, barbecue, sink, cabinet for dishes and crockery, large teak table, central piloting place and two side L-shaped sofas, to drive surrounded by friends, in total safety.
The hard top has a soft top that can be opened, an increasingly popular solution in Europe, and a perimeter guide – with the help of a transparent cover on request – allows you to close the flybridge in order to gain the use of the fly during non-summer months!

Engines?
The Volvo Penta D13 engine comes in two configurations, both within the IPS 30 range, namely 1200 and 1350; basically, there is no need for the 1350, but if the owner’s choices are to permanently host a large group of guests and their luggage as well as heavy accessories, such as jet skis and tender, gyroscopic stabilizer and so on, then we will have the right solution to offer.

The 2020 edition of Boot Düsseldorf comes to an end: the show proves to be a solid reference point for the international boat shows’ Circus, through absolutely satisfactory figures: more than 1.900 exhibitors divided in 17 halls, each of them perfectly prepared to welcome over 250.000 enthusiasts attending the event.
In addition to Germany, leader among the Countries involved, Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Switzerland, Italy and France rank the top of the Countries taking part at the Boat Show, together with USA and Canada, which show growing results compared to 2019’s edition.
It has been a great time for discussion for Absolute Yachts, both for the presence of the new Navetta 52 – Generation 2020 together with 47 FLY/ 50 FLY/ 62 FLY, and for the involvement of several owners, dealers and media coming from all over the world.
The new Navetta 64 has been revealed for the first time: Cesare Mastroianni, VP Sales & CCO Absolute Spa , has introduced the first constructive details during the dealer and world press meeting, waiting for the official launch taking place during Cannes Yachting Festival.
Next schedule? Miami Yacht Show, from 13th to 17th February 2002 inside the new downtown location in Biscayne Bay.

Absolute Yachts SPA among the companies “Leader della Crescita 2020” (Growth Leaders 2020).
This is the second consecutive year that Absolute Yachts obtains a place of honour inside “Leader della Crescita 2020” (Growth Leaders 2020), the special ranking dedicated to the Italian companies which have achieved the major turnover growth between 2015 and 2018.
The ranking has been drawn up by the German company “Statista” and commissioned by the newspaper “Il Sole 24 ore”: it identified the 400 leader companies among the 7000 candidates, examining them through detailed and objective benchmarks, based on the period 2015-2018.
Absolute is the only shipyard mentioned in the final ranking and it has conquered the 11th place considering the turnover (top spot in ranking among the industrial products other than cars) and the 294th place considering the general ranking if we look at the growth rate 2015-2018, with an increase of 23,19% per year.
“A result which honours our business plans and the bravery to keep investing, above all during the troubled times, developing the innovation and the Made in Italy craftsmanship as the real anchor to rise the world, at least from the crisis” (Angelo Gobbi – Absolute Yachts President).

The 47 FLY and the Navetta 68 have been officially launched. After having conquered dealers, press and fans all over the world during the preview in Varazze at the beginning of September, they officially came out of the closet, conquering also the public of Cannes boat show and carving out a place among the other models exhibited: Navetta 48, 50 FLY, 52 FLY, Navetta 52, 58 FLY, Navetta 58, 62 FLY, 72 FLY and the flagship Navetta 73.
The next rendezvous is Genoa Boat Show, from 19th to 24th September 2019 and of course the next edition of Cannes Yachting Festival, already set from 8th to 13th September 2020.

Two days of sea trials, direct debate with technicians (and not only!) and an evening show dedicated to the Navetta 68, with owners, dealer and Absolute management.
An event in the name of the family feeling and marked by the great expectation linked to the new Absolute 47 FLY and Navetta 68, whose study will be deepened during the boat show taking place in the French Riviera
The Absolute Press Meeting 2019 has been a great success: two-days dedicated to the international Press, mainly focused on the new Absolute models.
More than 20 reporters have been attending this event, on behalf of different news media, being involved in several sea trials and technical insights, constantly supervised by the Absolute management, to reveal every single detail of the new boats.
“The meeting with the international Press represents a key moment to acquire the different interpretations of our products, the applications and the technical feedbacks that are obviously detailed according to the different regions and Countries all over the world”. These are the words of Ms Patrizia Gobbi, General Manager & Chief Marketing Department, to underline the importance of such meetings, which are not only a necessary step, but rather one of the most starting point for the company’s strategic choices.
The event, taking place at the Marina di Varazze, has seen the involvement of three models: Navetta 68 and 47 FLY – that will be officially launched during the Yachting Festival Cannes from 10th to 15th September 2019 – and the 62 FLY, launched last January during the Boot Düsseldorf 2019.
“Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing”.
Theodore Roosevelt
The nautical game is played at sea, here you must be able to grasp the opportunities to test your talent and the champions are few. Absolute stands out among the others: its growth does not seem to stop thanks to an increasingly compact and competitive international team that has won the heart of many fans around the world. Absolute’s talents are today a strong team with a clear and shared philosophy, “Reaching for the Absolute”, recognizable both from the name and the excellence with which these jewels of the Made in Italy that furrow the oceans are conceived and produced.
The trust of the most demanding shipowners and experts, confirmed by numerous international awards year after year, is the greatest gratification for the brand from Piacenza. These are the fruits of “throwing ourselves on a work that deserves to be done”, as Roosevelt taught.
Absolute, in addition to the awards received for the quality of the products and for the design, has also collected several international awards as a company. One of these was attributed by the London Stock Exchange Group, a company that controls the London Stock Exchange and the Italian Stock Exchange: Absolute was in fact considered as one of the “1000 Companies to Inspire Europe”, in the third edition of the report dedicated to European small and medium-sized companies not listed on the Stock Exchange.
Just to give an example related to the past year, Absolute company counted several equally prestigious mentions: in January “Export2Succeed”, as export leader, in the initiative launched by UPS in collaboration with L’Imprenditore, in April among the “500 Champion” of growth in Italy in the research carried out by the financial analysts of L’Economia del Corriere della Sera and in September among the 350 companies “Leader of Growth” in the study conducted by the Sole 24 Ore.
But the watchword is “never rest on our laurels”! Every goal for Absolute is just the beginning of a new exciting challenge for the future.
“Teaching comes only to indicate the way and the journey; but the vision will be of the one who has wanted to see”.
Plotino
Elegant, sophisticated and attractive like no other … a vision in the waves!
There is no mention of one of the sirens that tempted Ulysses during his wonderful journey, nor of a mirage after a long and tiring travel.
The undisputed protagonist of the 2019 boating season is “The Absolute Vision”, the new Navetta 68, one of the latest emblems of the Made in Italy conceived by the famous shipyard to enchant the world. A pure combination of technological innovation and functional elegance.
This queen of the seas includes four cabins: the owner’s cabin, secluded at the bow, in a raised position above the floatation level, the VIP cabin and two cabins with single beds (one of which is equipped with an electric mechanism that allows you to join / divide the beds according to the needs), as well as two separate cabins for the crew.
Everything is further enriched on a functional level by 6 sliding doors and a large storage compartment.
Here, comfort reigns supreme in a truly refined setting where everything is well-finished and nothing is left to chance, from the impeccable and optimized subdivision of the spaces, to the choice of a sophisticated décor.
The flybridge, the largest in the category, gives space to conviviality and a pleasant atmosphere thanks to a large area where sofas and small armchairs are placed, but also to the way the living area is designed on the main deck, with the kitchen halfway between the internal “dining area”, finely furnished, and the external “dinette”. This yacht was born to be lived and to be the best frame for amazing life experiences.
Now, imagine watching the spectacle of a starry sky or a breathtaking sunset, with the one you love, lulled by the waves: this in your mind is still a simple “vision”, but soon it will become reality on board of Navetta 68: a daydream journey.

A great satisfaction for the VI Dealers Meeting, the event dedicated to the Absolute Yachts dealers coming from all over the world.
23 Countries and 4 continents attending the two-days meeting dedicated to the novelties 2020 coming from the shipyard and to the new season which already sounds extremely interesting; “Beyond the limits” has been the claim of the event, not only highlighted through the 2 new models and the 2 restyling about to be launched to the public, but also through the words of Angelo Gobbi, Absolute’s President. At the beginning he has claimed “Our natural inclination, going beyond the limits, not only the market ones, but also the individual ones, always with great commitment, passion and humility”.
A tight schedule for this event, spending the first day at the shipyard in Podenzano – theoretical sessions followed by the visit on board the new 47 FLY – and the second day at Marina di Varazze for the sea trials, this time together with the other novelty – Navetta 68 – in addition to Navetta 48 and 58 FLY.
The Absolute Voices, our appointment with interviews to the main players of Absolute’s world, comes back. Today, we go to Bacoli, in the province of Naples, to know Edoardo and Valeria and celebrate the launch of the new Absolute 62 Fly delivered by Nautica Fusaro, our official dealer for Campania.
In addition to sales, Nautica Fusaro also deals with boat repairs, haulage and mooring services. Initially created as a winter storage, the company has quickly become the leader in boat sales in southern Italy thanks to its professionalism.
Officially presented out of water during 2019 boot Dusseldorf and shown in water for the first time at Miami Yacht Show, the Absolute 62 Fly is the proof of how comfort, luxury and functionality can evolve without having to increase the yacht structure.
What travels do Edoardo and Valeria have in store for the next months?
Welcome to a new appointment with The Absolute Voices, the section that makes you know Absolute Yachts through the interviews of those who, day after day, live in close proximity to our reality. Our today’s appointment puts an end to interviews from 2019 boot Düsseldorf that have seen as protagonists three Absolute’s European dealers: Deniz Yatcilik, Baotic Yachting, Adriatic Wave and not only.
Today, in fact, we’ll know Mrs Saskia Glogau, Managing Director of Glogau Internationale Yachttransporte GmbH, a global German yacht transportation company that has been collaborating with Absolute for years.
Expertise, innovation and reliability are the key elements that make Glogau Yachttransporte GmbH completely different from competitors. For 30 years, their team has been working every day to offer customers total safety in yacht transportation.
In front of the new 62 FLY, Saskia tells us how she knew Absolute Yachts and unveils some details about the modus operandi of her company.
In a few years, there could be a humanoid friend in each family to make breakfast, walk the dog or look after the little children.
Does the technology scare us or does it fascinate us? The secret is summarized in this statement: we don’t have to adapt ourselves at the technology, rather the technology has to adapt itself to our lifestyle. If we always follow this principle, we will never take the risk of the innovation absorbing our choices and the pleasure of our experiences.
Absolute has taken this axiom in and once again can therefore be considered a pioneer in the ground of the “friendly” innovation thanks to the use of the “EmpirBus” technology: a home automation system integrated in Garmin displays, studied to make the wishes of the most demanding owners. A completely connected boat, that can adapt herself to the lifestyle of her owner, thanks to the integration with the multifunction displays: EmpirBus makes it possible to fully control the yacht and enjoying even more the time spent on board.
The Navetta 48 has been the first creation to implement this highly developed technological system. You can find it, in a developed and extended version, also on board the 62 FLY, the most recent creation of the shipyard – launched during the recent Boot Düsseldorf 2019.
The Navetta 48 has revolutionized the yachting world: she made quite an impression not only thanks to the new EmpirBus technology, but also through the elegant color coordination, the uninterrupted panorama and the inner spaces’ airiness. She gives a feeling of being on a bigger yacht compared to the real dimensions, since every inch is fully optimized. Here “space” and “light” merge into an harmonious union, becoming a new single concept, thanks to the support of the “friendly” technology.
The areas dedicated to the life on board benefit from an absolute comfort ensured by state-of-the-art technologies and increasingly bright, functional and eclectic spaces.
This will ensure the possibility of offering to the present and future owner a new experience, integrated and above all unique… to use a single adjective, not random at all, “absolute”.
Our usual appointment with ” The Absolute Voices” comes back with the voices of the key players in the Absolute world.
Interviews from Boot Düsseldorf with our European dealers continue. Today, we meet Gimmy Valente of Adriatic Wave, who takes us on board the new 62 FLY to tell the main characteristics that make this model unique and introduce the reality of Adriatic Wave.
Founded in 2013, Adriatic Wave operates successfully in Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and the Adriatic coasts of northeast Italy. Thanks to an excellent post-sales service and a highly skilled team, Adriatic Wave has made over 500 boatowners happy throughout the world in over 20 years of activity.
On the 62 FLY, Gimmy shows us what it means to live on board this yacht where every space is at the service of sharing to offer a completely unique experience and not only.

« The philosphy is not a temple, but a shipyard ».
Absolute can be defined as the most accurate contemporary supporter of this theory expressed by Georges Canguilhem, French philosopher and epistemologist. When one’s own “system of beliefs” in the work is reflected also in the behavior, the result is a skilled company that does not lose sight of its clear aim, which is even recalled – as carved in the stone – in the name itself: Absolute.
“Absolute” as the dedication in the constant technological research as well as the hard work of the talented staff operating in the shipyard, whose success is based on one of the most worldwide advanced constructive system.
In this magical place, at the doors of Piacenza, echo the passions of the ancient Italian artisan workers, inside a framework which has little that is ancient and dusty, rather it is totally forward-looking: Absolute boasts one of the most advanced shipyard in the world, equipped with state-of-the-art technological tools, in addition to sophisticated 3D modelling systems.
Cleaning, order and ecology rule an extension of 24.200 square foot where every day it’s possible to meet the owners of the famous company: at the head of this real yachting pioneers, Angelo Gobbi, wanders around the areas of this incredible place on his bicycle, checking for himself that each phase of the production chain perfectly progresses.
“Wisdom is the daughter of experience”: the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci was farsighted. The state-of-the-art working method of Absolute arises exactly from its founders’ in-depth knowledge of the shipbuilding techniques: a unique and innovative method, aimed at the integration of all the activities into a single system, which is efficient and optimized in each phase of the production chain, the so-called “Integrated Structural System (ISS)”.
In the guise of yachting enthusiasts, the lesson that you learn while visiting the Absolute shipyard is the following: research and innovation can give birth to the best yachting experiences, that should be jealously treasured in one’s own personal memory.
“It is not enough to conquer; one must learn to seduce.”
Voltaire
Informality, charm, a feeling of “sparkling”: everything makes you feel alive in Miami, but this year the Caribbean breeze has been outclassed by a strong wave of novelties coming from far away.
A gust of pure magic has blown from the most famous Peninsula of the Mediterranean, fascinating the Americas thanks to the unique original notes which always stand out also for the most demanding yachting specialist.
Thanks to the strong personality of its yachts, Absolute has always been making a great impression on the “New World”. This year, a special chemistry has sealed a new love: the Absolute 62 FLY, after joining the family, debuted in the water for the first time ever during Miami Yacht Show.
Voltaire would have been very proud of Absolute, capable of charming the entire public of the most “cool” current Boat Show, after having conquered the audience through the excellence of its range, including this year four Flybridge (45, 50, 52, 58) and four Navetta (48, 52, 58 and 73).
Italy stood again out thanks to its style’s elegance and its stylistic features’ creativity, which are enhanced by the constant technological innovations… because the “savoir-faire” is not shown with words but with action!

“You’re going to be deciding (…) what you will do in life, what your life’s work will be. Once you discover what it will be, set out to do it and to do it well (…) be the best of whatever you are.”
Martin Luther King
It is funny how the Italian word for “shipyard” (“cantiere”) comes from the Latin word “cantherius”, which means “easel”: sometimes the words open unknown images and suggestions’ worlds up.
The “easel” for Absolute is held up by the strength of the founders’ experience, by the endless creative force of the always buzzing ideas and by the attitude aimed at the achieving of increasingly ambitious projects, which is written down in the whole team’s DNA.
The Absolute shipyard is a real factory of beauty.
And think that to reach this point and realize a boat envied by the entire world, it is not enough to have state-of-the-art technological equipment, nor boasting one of the most developed constructive method… you need a certain extra “quid”, about which there’s nothing tangible. The “absolute passion” is the Absolute key of success, that “call to do”, as Martin Luther King would have said, which encourages the craftsmen to follow their creative vocation in realizing the beauty… the “absolute” ones.
Today we share with you a taste of this creative process crawling with passion that governs the realization of an Absolute yacht: enjoy the video realized by “The Boat Show”.
We’re at the sixth appointment with “The Absolute Voices“, our section dedicated to the voices of the main players within Absolute Yachts’ world. Last week, we met our first European dealer; today, we continue with dealers of the old continent moving from Turkey to Central Europe.
Zlatko Coskovic, Sales Manager of Baotic Yachting, takes us on board the Navetta 52 between the wide main deck and the pilot station.
Baotic Yachting is an internationally active company based in Frankfurt and with partners throughout Europe: seven sales offices, two marinas and three assistance and charter points. Baotic Yachting offers complete extraordinary assistance services that, combined with a long experience in the boating sector, provide customers with a high level of knowledge and professionalism.
The Navetta 52 is characterized by highly functional beautiful spaces. The large glass windows in the saloon give an exceptional panoramic view for a boat of this size and the pilot station, too, is amazing.
So, let’s find out together with Zlatko other important features of the Navetta 52 and the modus operandi of Baotic Yachting. Enjoy the video!
“The Absolute Voices” returns for its fifth appointment and makes us know the first European dealer of this video series: Rupen Meyhanecioglu of Deniz Yactcilik, Absolute dealer in Turkey, interviewed at boot Düsseldorf 2019.
Family-run since 1998, Deniz Yactcilik is the leading yacht leader in Turkey. Their mission is to improve the sailing experience of their customers, going beyond the simple purchase and making sure that customers’ expectations are fully and successfully satisfied. After all, Turkey is a real paradise for yachtsmen thanks to its 8,000 km of coasts , 127 blue flag beaches and a long summer. The staff ofDeniz Yactcilik knows that very well.
On board the Navetta 48, Rupen makes us discover the amazing features of this yacht and, in particular, the wide spaces that offer an enviable living comfort for boats of bigger sizes.
Interiors are bright, functional and versatile, as clearly shown by the large master cabin that Rupen invites us to visit with him.
What other surprises will this appointment with ” The Absolute Voices” have in store for us? Let’s find it out in this video.
“The world is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper”
William Butler Yeats
To the sound of the word “abracadabra”, a red tarp has magically fallen, showing to the world “The Absolute Alchemy”, the unique magnificence of the new 62 FLY. The audience reactions? Open mouths, astonished gazes and cheers were the framework of this remarkable event.
We are not talking about the moments of an illusionism performance, but rather about an important Italian history, which has been experienced by the visitors during the recent Boot Düsseldorf, where for the first time Absolute has shown to the excited audience its most recent creation, result of the whole team’ talent.
The nautical world has found in the biggest European indoor boat show an occasion to “sharpen” the sensory perceptions, as the Irish poet, author and playwright William Butler Yeats would have said.
Behind the magic, the secret ingredient that Absolute has used to make the visitors’experiences “absolute”, there is a pioneering technological research, innovative stylistic features, together with a unique constructive method considered as one of the most developed in the world. This excellence makes itself tangible to the boating enthusiasts and specialists through the models exhibited in Düsseldorf, the 50 FLY, the Navetta 52 and the very young Navetta 48, together with the 62 FLY.
To paraphrase Henry IV of Bourbon, King of Navarre, “Miami is worth a boat show”, for the vintage charm of the Collins Avenue in South Beach, for the post-modern glamour of the Design District, for the North Beach fitness, for the Everglades wilderness or for the Brickell high society.
Well, Miami (and its surroundings) has no room for monotony and it is the best place in the world to plunge into the yachting during the month of February, during the coolest (and most casual) current boat show.
Here Absolute is a protagonist, actually it stands out thanks to the launch – the first-ever in the water – of the 62 FLY: some of you may say that the boat has already been presented in January (Hall 6 – Boot Düsseldorf), but can we compare the sunset cocktails & DJ-set in Lincoln Road with the -10 degrees of the Alstadt? Shank, sauerkraut, pretzel and bier have been a nice beginning, but can we compare them with the nightlife in Miami?
All around the Absolute 62 FLY, the entourage of eight bridesmaids, four Flybridge (45, 50, 52, 58) and four Navetta(48, 52, 58, 73), the elegant petals of a fragrant corolla, which inebriates as the warm Caribbean breeze, as the
chirping parrots’ flocks, as the rumbling Harley Davidson of the metro-patrol.
What are you waiting for? Pack some casual outfits (do you remember? Miami is informal…) and come visit us!
What has Absolute to do with that discipline, the alchemy, between empirical science and art, aimed at the transmutation of the metal into gold? The answer came during the Boot Düsseldorf 2019.
No alembics, magic potions or good luck ceremonies have been necessary to be enchanted by the beauty of the most recent Absolute Yachts creation: the 62 FLY, “The Absolute Alchemy”.
The modern alchemists of the shipyard have mixed innovation, technology and Italian craftsmanship and the result has been impressive… no trick nor illusion: everything is real!
This model, including three wide cabins each one with private toilet and shower, has been created thanks to the continuous research work and to the efforts enthusiastically fed by the whole Absolute team. A fourth cabin, eventually equipped with twin beds, can be chosen as option to welcome the guests or the crew.
The Volvo Penta IPS-950 D11 engines, with tractor propellers, and the famous Absolute hull ensure minimum consumption, ease of maneuverability and absence of vibrations. The inner spaces are optimized in every detail, offering an absolute comfort, which characterizes also the main deck, thanks to the galley – finely refined and furnished – at the entrance of the salon, studied to offer the unique “en plein air” perception, granted by the Absolute style.
The clever combination between materials and valuable finishing is the frame of a boat characterized by an immersive beauty and a celebrated quality. The result? A real spell for the eyes… and not only.
Nothing is left to chance when aiming at the absolute!

For the fourth appointment of “The Absolute Yachts”, the special section that tells about Absolute Yachts’ world through the voice of its players, we approach boat owners sailing between Florida and Bahamas.
At 2018 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, we meet Mr. and Mrs. Poole, owners of “4SeaSons”, an Absolute 60 FLY.
With their enthusiasm, they tell us the emotions of those who have made the right choice.
With her convivial spaces designed to sunbathe, have informal cocktails and parties, the Absolute 60 FLY makes life on board simply unique.
This Absolute model is a yacht with capital “Y” equipped with three guest cabins below deck and a crew cabin, each with its own bathroom for a total of 4 toilets on board. All rooms, beds and showers are oversized in order to offer unparalleled comfort without sacrificing interior spaces.
A 60-foot yacht like this cannot fail to fascinate. Therefore, we just have to find out what it’s like to have one.
For the third appointment with “The Absolute Voices”, we meet Jay Hendrix, General Manager of Staten Island Yachts Sales, at 2018 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
Staten Island Yachts Sales is Absolute Yachts’ dealer and the USA Northeast’s most powerful new and used yacht dealer and brokerage firm. The company was founded in 1964 as Staten Island Boat Sales from Phil and Frank’s dream and its main focus is about building long term relationships.
Recognized as a leader in the industry, the team at SI Yachts always finds the best way to improve the boating lifestyle.
“We listen to our customers’ present needs, interpret future ones and we develop solutions.”
Frank is not only a yacht dealer owner but also a marine and service center owner and, as a passionate boat owner, he has always put the customer first. The constant daily work of SI Yachts’ certified technicians on boats enables customers to enjoy the fullest boating experience available to them.
Staten Island Yacht Sales is a family owned and operated, customer-driven business with dedicated employees. From the professional sales team you meet early in your relationship to the friendly and skilled customer support team, all SI Yachts’ members are focused on carrying out the mission of “doing what is right”, regardless of what it involves.
When you ask Frank Bongiorno for a comment – “after 52 years of success, we have seen our fair share of ups and downs. We have learned a great deal from our experiences and applied that hard earned knowledge to our business to make us stronger, more resilient and even more customer focused. At SI Yachts, we focus on the things we know we can control and adapt to the competitive landscape. Creating satisfied customers is the number one priority each and every day.”
In this interesting interview of “The Absolute Voices”, we become more familiar with SI Yachts with Jay Hendrix on board the Navetta 48. Jay invites us on board the Navetta to discover her innovative features. Let’s see them together!
This is our second appointment with the “voices” of Absolute Yachts’ new weekly column.
The protagonist of this meeting dedicated to some among the main players in Absolute Yachts’ world is Jake Sanders, General Manager of Grande Yachts International for the State of Florida.

Offices: Grasonville (MD), Baltimore (MD), Miami (FL), Palm Beach Gardens (FL), Stuart (FL), Deerfield Beach (FL), Dania Beach/ Ft, Lauderdale (FL).
In this video interview during the 2018 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, Jake Sanders, on board the 58 FLY, tells us some among the most interesting features of one the most appreciated models of the shipyard. Let’s find out them together!
